Colorado teen drowns in Colorado River near Moab

Moab, UT (AP) - Authorities are investigating drowning death of Colorado teenager in near Moab.

They say the teen died after his raft overturned in a turbulent stretch of the Colorado River near Moab, Utah.

The Grand County Sheriff's office says the 17-year-old boy from Fraser was on a raft that flipped Saturday afternoon in an area called Funnel Falls.

The boy was pulled out of the river, but attempts to revive him failed.
