Another stimulus funds construction project starts Monday in Glenwood Springs.
Crews are breaking ground on the I–70 interchange at mile marker 116.
Work will also begin on the Grand Avenue Bridge.
According to CDOT, the project will improve safety, capacity and the road’s surface.
Crews will also time signals at the interchange to coincide with other signals to improve traffic flow.
CDOT says traffic won’t be impacted until after Labor Day.
The project should be wrapped up November 24.
