Ritter to announce budget plan at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday

At 10:45 a.m Tuesday Governor Bill Ritter will explain how he plans to close Colorado’s huge budget gap.

According to published reports, one extra charge Coloradoans face is a charge to gun buyers for background checks.

Another involves charging for criminal background checks.

State departments are also expected to face more cuts.

The state faces a $384 million budget gap.
