A wrong way accident on the Front Range leaves one man dead.

Authorities say a driver was killed when he caused a 10–vehicle crash by driving the wrong way on I–25.

Police say the driver of a Jeep Liberty was southbound in the northbound lanes and crashed into a white pickup truck which was pulling a trailer with a car on it.

The trailer separated from the pickup and hit other vehicles on the highway.

Three people were taken to area hospitals but their conditions were not released.

The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.
