Montrose hit the books Wednesday

District 51 students aren’t the only ones headed back to class today.

School starts in Montrose and Olathe as well.

The RE 1 J School District is expecting 6,500 students about the same as last year.

Montrose County school officials say they have new principals at Montrose High.

Olathe High and Johnson Elementary School and they hired 32 new teachers to replace teachers who retired or moved.

They want drivers to remember the little ones will be out walking to school, so slow down and be careful.
