Centennial, Colo. (AP) - A psychotherapist says a teenager who lived in the same Aurora home as a missing girl told him of participating in the girl's death and helping bury her body.
Therapist Simon Dwyer testified Thursday in the trial of Aaron Thompson, who is charged with fatal child abuse and other crimes against his daughter Aarone. Thompson reported the girl missing in 2005, when she would have been six, but investigators believe she was already dead.
The teen Dwyer treated is the son of Shelley Lowe, Thompson's live-in girlfriend. The teen was 14 when Aarone was reported missing. Dwyer says the teen has post-traumatic stress disorder and major depressive disorder.
The teen testified briefly Thursday but wasn't asked about his account of the slaying.
