Mosquitoes in Delta County have tested positive for West Nile Virus.

Officials with the North Fork Mosquito Abatement District in Paonia say the findings came back positive last week.

The Mosquito Abatement District was shut down early this year because of a lack of funding.

But officials say they will be doing another round of treatment and fogging, thanks to volunteers who are pitching in to help for free.

Delta County Health Officials say there are no confirmed cases of West Nile Virus in humans.
