A delta man is under arrest on charges of child abuse and according to an arrest affidavit he’s not denying it.

Leobardo Rincon told police that the child fell off a stroller. He said it wasn’t the first time the girl had done this and he “lost it." He then told police he hit the child and threw her back into the stroller.

A doctor at Delta Memorial Hospital told police the baby girl’s head was fractured above the spine and she also had trauma on the top and front of her head as well as bruising around an eye.

The child had to be air lifted to St. Mary’s Hospital and is now listed in good condition according to hospital officials.

Rincon is being held at the Delta County Jail on a $60,000.
