President Barack Obama is throwing his support behind U.S. Senator Michael Bennet.
The President released a statement Friday saying America needs him in the United States Senate to help revitalize our economy, improve our public schools and pass health care reform.
Bennet was appointed to the Senate by Governor Ritter after Ken Salazar left to be the Secretary of the Interior.
He will square off against Andrew Romanoff in the Democratic Primary next year.
