The Delta Police Department is asking businesses to be on the lookout for counterfeit money.
Delta Police Chief Robert Thomas says there have been at least five confirmed cases of people buying things with fake $20 bills within the city limits.
Officials say if you think you may have received a counterfeit bill, compare it with a real one and look for the differences between the bills, not similarities.
If you have any questions, call the Delta Police Department at (970) 874-7676.
