Keystone, Colo. (AP) - Two Colorado ski resorts are now open for the season.
Arapahoe Basin Ski Area opened Friday morning, two days after Loveland Ski Area.
It's the earliest opening day for the ski area, beating the previous record from 2007 by just one day.
A-Basin reported that 1,200 skiers and snowboarders turned out within the first two hours. The resort has one run open with an 18-inch base. Some parts of its terrain park are also open.
