Montrose PD warning residents after rash of breakins

MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO) - After a recent string of burglaries the Montrose Police Department is reminding residents there to lock their doors.

Police Department officials say several businesses in and around the city have been burglarized in the last three weeks.

Officials are asking residents to be careful and to make sure your businesses, homes and cars are locked and secure.

Most of the burglaries have happened after 6 p.m. and involved money.

If you see anything suspicious, call the Montrose Police Department at 242-5200.
