Man crossing Colo. freeway struck 5 times, killed

NORTHGLENN, Colo. (AP) - Police in the Denver suburb of Northglenn say a pedestrian was killed when he was hit by at least five vehicles as he tried to cross a busy freeway.

Investigators say 23-year-old Shane King of Thornton was killed at about 11 p.m. Saturday on the southbound lanes of Interstate 25.

Police say all the drivers have been interviewed. It's unclear whether any charges are planned.

Police say they are awaiting the results of toxicology tests on the victim.
