DENVER (AP) -- A man charged in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old boy in Denver is scheduled to be arraigned April 3.
The Denver Post reports 18-year-old Lonnie White appeared in court Friday, and his attorneys moved the arraignment hearing. White has been charged with first-degree murder in the Aug. 30 death of Reysean Abram, who had just left a party where there had been a fight and was a block away when he was shot in the Montbello neighborhood.
White was 17 years old when he and 20-year-old Marquise Lewis allegedly shot Abram. Lewis, who also is charged with first-degree murder, is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 21.
Juvenile charges were filed against a third defendant, but they have since been dropped.
White was charged as an adult.
