COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities believe a student set a small fire that forced the evacuation of Evans Elementary School near Colorado Springs.
El Paso County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Jeff Kramer says a student at the school is a suspect, but no charges have been filed.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, smoke quickly filled the school Tuesday and fire crews and school staff evacuated students. More than 700 children attend the school.
