AURORA, Colo (KKCO) In Saturday's press conference, Oates says that based on everything he has seen at the location, it was meant to kill whoever entered the apartment first. He says the person who was likely do so would've been a police officer.

"If you think we're angry, we're sure as hell angry, about what has happened to our city, what has happened to these wonderful people who live here and also what he threatened to do to one of our police officers," says Oates.

You're blaming APD for this attack because of anti-gun laws? Please explain how someone with a tiny hand gun could have stopped that lunatic? Hillbilly logic is hard to follow...

But you didn't do anything to remove the anti-gun laws in Aurora or meet with the theater owners and other businesses to get them to remove the anti-CCW signs. APD is just unhappy because now they have to pretend to do something and that they might have been hurt. Typical bureaucratic thinking. Not Law Enforcement thinking or good citizen thinking, just bureaucrat thinking.
