AURORA, Colo (KKCO) Mayor Hogan says there are federal, state and local government representatives who have been in Aurora offering support. He says the city has also received messages from people offering support and prayers from around the world, and thinks maybe now, everyone can start the long process of grieving.

"We can I think, now, start this process of, natural process, of grieving and healing. I started talking today (Saturday) with representatives of our community of faith and how involved they are and want to be in our community and to be helpful to our citizens," says Hogan.

The mayor also met with some of the families of people who were badly injured at the hospital.

He says he tried to let them know the city cares and that they will do whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to help them.
