BATTLEMENT MESA, Colo (KKCO) Officials say the trail cost about $750,000. Funds were provided by Garfield County, Battlement Mesa Service Association, and Town of Parachute. Community leaders would like to thank local residents John and Jodie Lyons who granted an easement across their property so that the trail could be built.
