Milkshakes get more mature at Red Robin this fall.

Colorado-based burger joint has added beer milkshakes to their menu.

But according to Denver Westword, some are questioning why Red Robin chose to use Boston-based beer Sam Adams as the unlikely ingredient, especially since Colorado is home to so many breweries like Breckenridge or New Belgium.

A Red Robin spokesman was quoted on the site, saying Sam Adams' Octoberfest brew is a seasonal beer Red Robin featured over the past few years, so using it in the milkshake was "a natural fit."

We want to know what you think. Should Red Robin stay loyal to their home state and use a locally brewed beer in their shakes?

What beer you think might make for a better shake? Does that even sound tasty?
