GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) There was food, entertainment, and plenty of company at Buffalo Wild Wings Sunday night. The only thing is, the restaurant wasn't opened quite yet for business. Wings fans were lining up outside of the restaurant Sunday in hopes of being one of the first 100 customers. The first 100 guests will receive free wings for a year when the restaurant opens Monday morning at 11-30am. Some set up their tents around 10am Sunday morning, and plan on keeping themselves occupied until Monday's grand opening.

"I was really surprised, actually. I thought there was going to be 99 people here and we were going to be the last ones, in a rush. We're just hanging out, trying not to be bored. Brought a basketball hoop, just shooting a little bit, got some ring toss, got lots of food and stuff," says Josh Schweigart and Devin Winstanley, who were camping out for free wings.

Those in line are pitching their tents, playing basketball, watching tv, and making new friends. Buffalo Wild Wings says the customers will receive a booklet with coupons for their free wings.

I drove by last night and wanted to rain on most of these people parade. LOL However I expected to see chunky ppl like myself or homless trying to get free food. Shocking the crowd really consisted of neither.

Thought I would try my luck monday morning. However once I read this I decided it is a waste of time. "The first 100 customers through the doors at the new location will receive vouchers for six free wings every week for the entire year." http://www.mlive.com/entertainment/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2012/02/people_lineup_to_be_first_insi.html?mobRedir=false
