CSP sponsors driver awareness program

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) – The Colorado State Patrol Family Foundations is offering a class called Alive at 25. The program is a four and a half hour driver awareness program, which is proven to be the most effective driver awareness class in the U.S.

It will be $39 for those taking the class to attain their driver’s permit. Those that are required to attend, have a $79 tuition. This National Safety Council multimedia class is designed specifically for drivers between the ages of 14 through 24.

The program will be taught by current and retired Colorado State Patrol Troopers at the Colorado Department of Transportation at 202 Centennial State in Glenwood Springs. Completion of this program will result in the immediate issuance of a National Safety Council Certificate. With this certificate you will be eligible to get your driver’s permit six months early.
