CU approves revised gun policy

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- The University of Colorado Board of Regents has approved a revised gun policy allowing people with permits to bring guns almost anywhere on the Boulder campus.

In March, the Colorado Supreme Court upheld an appeals court ruling that said CU can't ban permit holders from bringing guns to campus. On Wednesday, regents voted to comply with that ruling.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera, guns are still banned from ticketed events, including football games at Folsom Field and concerts in Macky Auditorium.
