GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Changes are coming to the TV news industry in the Grand Valley.
Friday, News-Press and Gazette Company announced the sale of KJCT-TV to Gray Television and Excalibur Broadcasting. Gray Television owns KKCO 11 News.
Excalibur Broadcasting is a newly-formed company and this is their first TV station purchase.
Changes will be taking place over the next few months as operations for the stations merge together. You can keep up-to-date about any changes by continuing to watch KKCO 11 News.
In the meantime, KKCO 11 News station officials say it's business as usual.
The agreement is pending approval from the Federal Communications Commission.
