DENVER (AP) Hate Colorado's new state logo? Some state lawmakers do, too, and they say the logo should be banned until a public vote on the snow-capped green mountain with the letters "CO."
Colorado officials unveiled the logo last year for royalty-free use by businesses that want a Colorado logo on their products and in marketing. But the logo has gotten mixed reviews.
A House committee starts work Tuesday on a bill from several Republicans to require a public vote on the "Brand Colorado" logo. The bill allows alternative branding initiatives based on the colors and elements of the Colorado state flag.
