WOLCOTT, Colo. Tuesday evening another fatal crash in Eagle County claimed the life of one man, and sent three others to the hospital.

According to the Colorado State Patrol a 1996 Honda Civic was being driven by 24 year-old Yonathan Serna Guerra of Gypsum on westbound Colorado 6 just west of Wolcott.

Serna Guerra traveled into the eastbound lane of Colorado 6, then over corrected in his attempt to return to the westbound lane. The Civic began to rotate clockwise and traveled off the right side of the roadway, going down a very steep grassy embankment. Upon reaching the bottom of the embankment the Civic flipped end-over-end to come to rest on its roof.

Serna Guerra died from injuries he sustained during the crash.

The three other passengers were transported to Vail Valley Medical Center to receive treatment. No information on their condition is available at this time.

The crash remains under investigation, however Colorado State Patrol would like to remind everyone to always wear a seatbelt while traveling in a car. It could save your life.
