NEAR LOMA, Colo (KKCO) The at-fault driver drifted into the opposing lane of traffic, causing the accident. When the Colorado State Patrol arrived on scene, there was no one in the at-fault car. Witnesses saw the driver leave, and authorities found him in a nearby field a while later. The man claimed he was sleeping in the field, but authorities saw his injuries were consistent with a car crash. He attempted running from authorities after his road side tests. You need help! You almost killed my step-son and grandson? Oh, and get your headlight fixed. Don't ever think about drinking and driving again. Not so sure you should even consider driving sober. You surely didn't get what you deserved. The law was way too easy on you!
