GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) It happened around 2 am Saturday morning on 7th and Pitkin in Grand Junction. Authorities say one car was driving southbound on 7th street. The 2nd car was traveling eastbound on Pitkin. We're told one car ran a red light and smacked into the second car. It's unclear who's fault it was. One person was transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. It's unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved. No lanes were closed. The accident is under investigation.
