Experts: GJ doesn't mirror national trends
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) However, keep in mind that our local economy doesn't follow national trends. Reports say the national trend is showing recovery from the real estate market. According to the Grand Junction Realtors Association, Grand Junction is typically about one year behind Denver and the national real estate market. We're told the same thing happened with the credit crisis. Experts are confident housing prices have hit rock bottom and will begin a recovery.
