FBI seeking public's help

MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO) - Montrose County authorities and the FBI are working together on the case of a woman whose body was found in 1994. Now they're asking for the public's help in identifying her.

They issued images of what authorities believe to be an accurate portrayal of the woman's facial features were when she was alive. Her remains were found July 7, 1994 near Windy Point on the Uncompaghre Plateau. She is believed to have been a white woman between 35 and 45 years old, and stood between 5' 4" and 5' 7". She had reddish-brown hair.

Officials say she suffered from TMJ, Scoliosis and had had dental work.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Montrose County Sheriff's Office.
