GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) “We wanted to reach out to those who have lost their homes, land or livestock due to these wild fires. This just seems like the best way for us to get involved, and hopefully inspire others to help out as well,” says Pat Prickett, owner of Learning Works.

In an effort to assist those who have been impacted by the recent fires, Learning Works has partnered with the American Red Cross and plans to donate 10% of their gross profit from all sales on July 5th, 6th and 7th to the American Red Cross Colorado Fire Relief Fund. Community members are encouraged to shop during these days, and additional donations to the fund are welcomed. As an added incentive, all purchases during these dates will qualify the customer to win a $50 gift certificate to Learning Works.

Learning Works, the well-known educational supply store, is
located at 1938 North 1st Street in Grand Junction. Regular store hours are 10am – 6pm. Learning Works will be extending store hours to 9am – 7pm on July 5th, 6th and 7th to make it even more convenient for people to donate.

Stop by and meet Pat and Christy, browse through the great collection of books, games and educational supplies, and help out Colorado families with every purchase.
