New GJPD lobby open to public

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) Authorities say there are several new features in the lobby that will help them better serve the public. You can go to different windows to request copies of records or reports, file a police report, or speak with an officer. The new building also has a separate entrance for sex offenders needing to register with police. The public can access the new lobby by entering the parking lot on Ute Avenue at 6th street. The lobby is open Monday through Friday from 7 am until 7 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am until 6 pm.

A separate entrance for sex offenders even. Hmmm...Can't make them feel shamed at the police station. I am so glad they found this money they supposedly didnt have. But clever way to still stick it to taxpayers. Enjoy the new trophy building and the next trophy big government library is next! Bet they will have books on how to become sex offenders!

Now we can see how they spent all that money we told them not to spend.
