GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) The team posted this comment on their website: "Fans and supporters, because of the risk of I70 closure,as small as it was, the APFL2 and our Commissioner , following improper league protocol, cancelled the refs for our game tomorrow night therefore canceling our game. Our league commissioner did this knowing that at worst a 21 mile alt route would have to be taken if indeed I70 closed. Our organization is dumbfounded by this. We deeply apologize to all who were prepared and worked to put this weekend together. I encourage everyone to contact the commissioner personally thru the league website contact link.
