Gar Co inmate held on conspiracy, murder charges

GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) – Another inmate at the Garfield County Jail is being held on Felony charges of Conspiracy to Commit and First Degree Murder Charges.

Josue Joya, 20, was booked into the facility on August 3rd, he’s being held on a $250,000 bond.

The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office told KKCO 11 News they weren't aware of another arrest related to the murder investigation currently underway from last week.

Fredy Cabrera turned himself into authorities on Thursday, he's being held on First Degree Murder charges. According to authorities, at approximately 11 p.m. on July 31st, 911 dispatch received a call about shots fired at the Riverside Cottages in Glenwood Springs. Two people were shot, both were taken to the hospital where one person was pronounced dead. The other victim, was transferred to Denver.
