GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. Crews have finished repairing flood-damaged areas along the popular Glenwood Canyon path, which is scheduled to be fully open to bicyclists and pedestrians Friday morning.
Tracy Trulove, a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Transportation, says maintenance crews have removed debris and built temporary timber structures over the most heavily damaged parts of the path.
The scenic path will be fully operational until the end of September when crews will need to make more permanent repairs. It was heavily damaged by spring runoff.
