Need help keeping up with your kids? Here are a few smartphone apps that help make a busy parent's life easier:
1.) Life 360
Life 360 is a big help making sure everyone in your family is where they're supposed to be. It's a free app that provides a map showing you where family members are - in real time. It also has a geo-fencing feature that allows you to create barriers on the map for designated locations like home, school, and soccer practice. And for emergencies, there's even a panic button.
ZocDoc lets you find a nearby, in-network doctor and see their availability at the push of a button. It also allows you to book an appointment instantly - even if the office is closed for the night. It also has reviews and links to specific pediatrician resources in your area.
EasilyDo takes important information from all your other apps (like your calendar, e-mail, social media, and more) and presents it in a clean, organized, easy-to-read feed. It even digs out important events (birthdays, etc.) from your Facebook and other apps and sends you a note or card on the day they occur. You can even connect it with your phone's GPS to send your spouse an email when you leave the office!
Bugging your kids to do chores is annoying, so let ChoreMonster do it! The app takes your chore list and turns it into an interactive game and gives kids a reason to get their tasks done. Unlike other chore-tracking apps, this one has a parents and a kids version. Parents can log-in and create task lists, deadlines, rewards and points for getting jobs done. When the kids log-in, they see what they have to do and get rewards when the job is completed.
