GJ-Montrose #5 in ticket sales for anti-Obama documentary

LOS ANGELES, CA (CBS News) Here are the five strongest U.S. theater markets in terms of ticket sales for "2016: Obama's America," based on box office data from Rentrak, a media measurement and research company. The film's distributor plans to expand the film from 1,091 theaters to nearly 1,800 theaters this weekend. Ohio and Colorado are key presidential battlegrounds:

1. Lima, Ohio

2. San Angelo, Texas

3. Tyler-Longview, Texas

4. Harrisonburg, Va.-W.V.

5. Grand Junction-Montrose, Colo.

Here are the five weakest markets:

1. Monterey-Salinas, Calif.

2. Buffalo, N.Y.-Penn.

3. Laredo, Texas

4. San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, Calif.

5. Anchorage, Alaska

    Seems to me it is all propaganda lies promoted by right wing extremist made by a right wing extremist Dinesh D'souza who was on reagans cabinet. Funny the only people who go to see this film is right wing zombies who listen to drug addictes like rush limbaugh and that crack pot glenn beck.

      I want to thank you. After reading your post, I decided to go see it. I enjoyed the movie and what was put out agrees with what I have seen/thought/conjectured over the past few years. It wasva well done documentary and I totally enjoyed it. Thanks again for referring to me as a zombie and motivating me to go.

    It seems to me that it is a way to campaign and make the public pay for it. Not that we don't anyway. I might see it for free, but not pay movie theater price for propaganda.

    Now that is encouraging! So where is Mr. Wizard (AKA Scott) he should be on any minute now blasting us with his indignant, socialist blowhard dialogue. I can hear it now "I am perfect and wonderful, blah, blah, blah. Everyone else who doesn't agree with me are idiots, blah, blah, blah!" I can hardly wait.

    "Anti-Obama Documentary" .. Wow that's a pretty judgmental and hateful title. Especially since this is a very academic and scholarly biography of one of the more important people of our time. KKCO/NBC aren't trying denigrate this excellent film, are they? If so why? (And is this some sort of snotty, snobbish put down of people in Grand Junction/Montrose by the elite at KKCO?) If you haven't seen the film, go to see it and make up your own mind. You owe it to yourself and your children. Especially if you saw Michael Moore's or Al Gore's movies, you need to really see this one.

      Good points hmmm. How can a person's biography be considered anti, When it's their story. I would like to see anyone disprove the facts of this film, the conclusion perhaps, but not the facts.

          All things are relative... Compared to CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC, CNN & NPR, Fox is "fair and balanced". Is it an ideal network, nope! There's Shepard Smith... And there's "Advocate Journalism" and All Propaganda, more commonly known as the Associated Press. Spend less time name calling and more time analyzing the media..

          @Yah: Fox has nothing to do with it except the parallels of calling some clear propaganda vehicles something other that that. Obama we experienced in last 4 years has plenty to go after but picture painted by GOP propaganda machines has nothing in common with objective reality.
