Grand Valley families skate for a cause

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) Her name was Megan and she was under the age of 18. The goal was to raise at least $1,000 for the
"Megan's Pediatric Cancer Reach for a Cure." They raised a little over half.

"It's not just our vixens and our junior team; its family, friends, and people who heard about us in the paper; I mean, the turn out has been amazing; it touches my heart because I'm a mom as well," says Melissa "Pink Militia" Williams, Grand Valley Vixens Captain.

In October, the girls plan on raising money for breast cancer.
