I-70 westbound re-opened at Eisenhower Tunnel

I-70 westbound was closed from Georgetown to the Eisenhower Tunnel due to multiple accidents on the west side of the tunnel and severe weather on Tuesday.

EISENHOWER TUNNEL, Colo. I-70 westbound wass closed from Georgetown to the Eisenhower Tunnel due to multiple accidents on the west side of the tunnel and severe weather on Tuesday.

According to CDOT there is no estimated time for reopening the road.

In addition, Loveland Pass was closed due to inclement weather. As of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday it is still closed.
