Labor day camping safety tips
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) First, be vigilant, especially when it comes to fires. The U.S. Forest Service says it's crucial you make sure your fire is completely out when you leave the campsite. Next, plan ahead, as many of the campgrounds require reservations. Finally be aware of what's going on around you. Do not rely on cell phones as some camping areas can have spotty service, and look for open areas when deciding to park.
