AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- A man arrested for bank robbery after a controversial traffic stop in Aurora has reached a plea deal.

The Aurora Sentinel reports a change of plea hearing for Christian Paetsch is scheduled for Jan. 24. The terms of the deal haven't been released.

Paetsch, accused of robbing an Aurora bank June 2, is expected to plead guilty to armed bank robbery and use of a weapon in the commission of a crime of violence.

A federal judge has ruled that police were justified in stopping 20 cars at a stoplight and ordering innocent bystanders out of their cars at gunpoint in their search for a suspect. Stacks of money stolen from the bank contained a GPS tracking device, but officers couldn't immediately pinpoint its location among the vehicles.
