DENVER (AP) -- A man convicted of breaking into a woman's house in Denver and sexually assaulting her has been sentenced to 96 years to life in prison.
Forty-one-year-old Tony Dotson was sentenced Friday.
He also faces a charge of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. An indictment made public last month accuses him of trying to have the victim killed. He's scheduled to enter a plea to that charge on Feb. 10.
He would face a sentence of up to 24 years if convicted of that charge.
The sexual assault occurred in 2012 in a west Denver home.
