DENVER (AP) -- DENVER (AP) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg in downtown Denver shortly after several bars in the area closed for the night.
Department spokesman Sonny Jackson tells The Denver Post (http://bit.ly/1ahDKUi) the man, who was in his early 20s but whose name has not been released, was walking near the intersection of 15th and Market streets when he was shot at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. The victim's injury is not life-threatening.
Jackson says police do not know what led to the shooting, and investigators are looking for a suspect who was last seen wearing either black or blue jeans and a red shirt.
The suspect has not been identified.
