FOUNTAIN, Colo. (AP) -- First lady Michelle Obama is starting a two-day campaign swing for her husband in Colorado.

The first lady planned campaign events in Fountain and Durango Wednesday. She scheduled a campaign visit to Castle Rock for Thursday.

The first lady stumped for her husband Tuesday in northern Virginia, saying that cutting the children's program "Sesame Street" is no way to balance the budget.

Her remark about "Sesame Street" was an indirect swipe at Republican Mitt Romney, who said at last week's debate that he'd cut funding for public broadcasting.
