GREELEY, Colo. (AP) -- An 11-year-old boy in Weld County died after a struggle with his older brother over a loaded stolen gun left on a dining room table.

The Denver Post reports to us (http://bit.ly/QgjRnV ) that 18-year-old Jordan Limas faces charges of criminally negligent homicide in Friday's death of Andre Limas.

An arrest affidavit released Monday by the Weld County District Attorney's Office says Jordan Limas told investigators he believed his brother wanted to show off the gun. Jordan Limas told investigators the gun discharged as he backed away, hitting the boy in the chest.

The affidavit says Andre Limas looked at his brother and said, "Jord, Jord, it hurts," before dropping to his knees.

Andre Limas died at a hospital about an hour after the shooting.

Jordan Limas is free on $30,000 bail.

What charges would be filed against Jordan if he had let Andre take the gun outside and shoot the neighbor kids.
