GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. An overturned semi-truck near the 24 Road overpass on Riverside Parkway is delaying traffic. Redland's Parkway was closed for roughly two hours as crews worked to clean up the accident, and the road was re-opened around 3:00 p.m.
Reports indicate that the truck spilled fuel as well as dirt and rocks on the roadway which will have to be cleaned up before the road is re-opened.
The driver of the semi-truck sustained what appeared to be minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Authorities are still determining whether a citation will be issued.
