FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Police say a 33-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured when he was hit by a pickup truck at an intersection in Fort Collins.

The Coloradoan reports Charles Alford, of Fort Collins, was struck at an intersection in the eastern part of the city at about 6:15 p.m. Friday. The 20-year-old driver of the pickup was not injured, and police do not believe alcohol or speed played a role in the crash.

The intersection is not marked with a crosswalk.
