LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) -- Authorities say a 42-year-old woman who was found dead in her Loveland home was strangled and suffered head trauma.

Loveland police Sgt. Justin Chase tells The Reporter-Herald that Christina Gray was found dead Wednesday afternoon by concerned friends who went to check on her.

No arrests have been made in the case, and Chase says investigators do not yet have a prime suspect. However, police do not believe there is a threat to the community.
