Police hunt suspects in Colo. Springs robberies

COLORADO SPRING, Colo. (AP) -- Four men are suspected in a string of armed robberies in northwest Colorado Springs.

Police say three Diamond Shamrock convenience stores and two individuals were robbed over the course of about an hour beginning at 11:30 p.m. Friday.

A release by Colorado Springs police says shots were fired during at least one of the holdups but no one was injured.

Police say one suspect is black and the other three are Hispanic.

No arrests have been made. It wasn't immediately clear how much money was taken.

Police say the four each carried a pistol and are considered armed and dangerous.
