DENVER (AP) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who robbed two banks in the Denver suburb of Aurora.

The Denver Post reports the woman robbed a Colorado State Bank & Trust branch on April 4 and an Academy Bank branch Thursday. Both banks are on Hampden Avenue.

The woman, who showed a handgun before demanding money, is described as black, in her 30s, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6, with a heavy build. Police say she could be driving a four-door blue Volkswagen Passat with a Colorado "Respect Life" license plate starting with 168.
