Police bust GJ heroin ring

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO) According to the Western Colorado Drug Task Force, it happened Friday, June 29th around 8pm. During this investigation, Tanja Goss, 24, was arrested for possession of heroin. Tyler Goss, 29, was arrested for child abuse. Dustin Deprospo, 24, was arrested for distribution of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of more than 4 grams of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Karlie Macarthur, 20, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of more than 4 grams of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Also I know for a fact that the mother did everything she could to stop all of this and her daughter never dated any 27 year old, and also her daughter is a very kind and caring person whom ended up in a bad situation, she is not a bad person. And does not deserve all of placing judgement on her, you really should get all you fact straight before you post.

    Brain, I wonder where you get your information from if you really knew them you would know it wasn't the mother that was letting her drink and smoke the abusive ex boyfriend was the one that purchased the stuff for her and once he was out of their lives their lives became much better, it is not her mothers fault she allowed someone to control her and as a known fact she did everything she could do to help her. And for those of you bashing the Grandpa, he didn't bail her out. No one did. Check your facts the judge let her out on her own because she is not what the paper and all of you whom make assumptions say.

    Heroin ring? I think not, since when is 4-6 grams of drugs and four people a ring! More likely a few junkies and a dealer. Big whoop, there are thousands of Oxi addicted folks on the Western Slope! These cops should concentrate their efforts on drunk drivers, everyone knows we have an out of control problem with DUI's. Just this week we have had two death form drinking and driving. Leave the small time druggies alone, they will overdose and die anyway, problem solved! I wonder how much money was spent to bust four walking dead junkies, it's not worth my tax dollars.

      It's amazing how someone has so much to say (druggies die) but yet you replied an awful lot. For one my bro is not a junkie and 2 the cops do what there trained to do. 3rd when was the last time you took time out to care for or neter the less voluntiered for your community 'MOUTH'.

    And to think that these people were living in assisted housing as well. Makes me proud to have my tax dollars go to such upstanding folks.

    AMEN! Let them suffer the consequesces for their actions. Otherwise Grandpa, they will NEVER learn... How many other kids did they talk into trying heroin..Grandpa, what about the other people's children...? You have to admit that your grandchild is a JUNKIE...denial will only get her DEAD!

    Hate to say it but, I imformed her mother 5 years a go that Karlie was headed down the wrong track. But, unfortunatly, she didnt see it that way. I guess any time you let your daughter drink, smoke cigarettes and pot when she is 15-16 is okay. Or allow her to date a 27 year old when she is 17 is okay as well. Its obvious that her mothers parenting skills contributed to this her demise. I hope she gets the help she needs. Its a shame that her grandfather has to come to the rescue of his grandkids everytime they are put behind bars. Mom needs to take some responsibility finally.

      Grandpa needs to quit bailing them out, maybe then they will learn the true consequences of their behavior. I'm really sick of how much tax money is spent on these cases, right down to the child involved, The cycle won't stop by itself.

    Day late and a filler short on your reporting like always, they probably already bonded out and started re selling, they will get a slap on the wrist and then the cycle will keep going on

      Um no....the way it works is as follow: drug scum is bused, turns CI, enjoys drug lifestyle on taxpayer dime (often supporting the group), offers a token bust to appease, the busted friend starts the cycle anew

    IM AM SUPER GLAD YOU GOT THESE PEOPLE OFF THE STREETS. THERE IS ONLY A FEW MORE PEOPLE LEFT. GO GET EM NOW! TASK FORCE OF MESA COUNTY AND THE FEDz WORKING ON THESE CASES WAY TO GO IN THIS BIG TIME ARRST. =)
